i have just bought my NR70 clie and can only view 320x240, thought it could view at 320x480. Do I need new software ?

did you "minimize" the virtual graffiti area?

Only certain programs utilize the "virtual graffiti" area, which is what extends the screen to 320X480. There's a little arrow down at the bottom of the screen (in the status bar); if it's grayed over, you can't minimize the screen.

The programs that I use that take advantage of it (had to purchase most of them; the NR series comes w/ OS4.1, so the native programs don't use it) are:

DateBk5 (AWESOME replacement for Date Book and To Do)
BDicty dictionary
Documents To Go (had to upgrade to the Premium Edition...worth it)
Acrobat Reader

Oh...and can't forget ZLauncher to replace the native launcher!
