Cleaning your CLIE

What do you use to clean your CLIE? Not the screen but the actual unit.

Why does a person who hates palms spend his time trawling clie forums? You know we arent going to convert so y dont you just admit you have an identity crisis and just wish that you had seen the light and gone clie.

On the topic: I use my finger for smudges and water should work. Other than that use a soft white rubber (not the hard hind for pens)

May be you are using the rubber for not pollute your CLIE… The AIDS is very strong on these days!!!

I try not to get mine dirty, I always wash my hands. For the screen, I use a lens cleaner and a very soft camera lens cloth. I am very careful not to let liquid travel to inside the LCD screen.

Lol, yeah, i thought of that afterwards. I meant a vinyl eraser. U can get condom cases for mobile phones though (mostly clear latex skin to protect it), maybe they should have them for palmtops : P

I think some screen protectors come with wet/dry wipes which are meant for cleaning the body as well as the screen (check the packet first)

I use the small packaged alcohol wipes. They work great on the outside and on the screen.

Not only does it clean it, it helps to minimize small scratches, lubricates the surface a bit (not oily at all) so that the finish won't wear as quickly and provides anti-static protection!!!:)
