The power saving feature can be had on the TH 55 almost as easy with the Backup to memporystick feature. Also you can have numerous backiups whicvh you cant on the UX.
Im thinking of switchin to a TH with Bluetooth.
Would you guys have changed your UX and got say $100 in bnetween for a wifi and bluetotth th55? II trhink i will since that screen is so large and I feell the keyboard of the ux is awkaward everytime you dont write on it ;)
but when you write alot it works great though. Also Im annoyed at the low batterylife of the standard battery :(((((((
Ideas, comments?
I would respond to you if you could type. Learn basic grammer so we can read your messages first.

Or at least, hit the 'Spell Check' button this site provides for free.

Fez what part dont you understand? And BTW how good are you on other languages besides English. Yes, it is true, it does exist somethings outside USA.

You are confusing backup, which the powersave app allows, with the ability to shut the power off to the UX, and in this state it doesn't have to refresh the RAM and therefore doesn't use any power. Backing up, although very necessary, does not save you any power.
Edit: Unless of course the TH can also cut power, but save the state to MS instead of non volatile internal memory.

Who brought 'Race' into this discussion?
I sure didn't...just pointed out the simple courtesy of making your statements as readable and easy to understand by the broadest selection of readers possible.
Is hitting 'Spell Check' really THAT much to ask?
And HOW IN THE WORLD IS THAT 'RACIST'??! WHAT 'RACE' DID ANYONE IN THIS THREAD MENTION?
Maybe you are projecting?
And why the USA bashing? How do you even know where a lot of members here are from if they don't list their location? I think you hold a not-so-hidden dislike of America...quite obviously by your sarcastic frown in front of 'America'.

Maybe, but you still conveniently failed to back up your statements. Bashing, then running away is not an admirable trait.

No problem. :D
I've met A LOT of rude/nasty people in my travels on this site who didn't happen to be American. We don't hold the patent on bad/rude behavior. ;)

now now.. no one here brought up any such racist remarks here so no one here is gonna start any..
I'm gonna agree with Fez and winexprt. I can't understand a thing PEG UX is trying to get across. If you want people to understand you, at least get you gramma correct.. the way you structure your sentences... duhz.. dunno what to say..

I wouldn't trade my UX with the keyboard for anything but a UX with a bigger screen. As much as I do word processing and email on it these days, I couldn't go back to the graff. I still say the UX beats the TH hands-down.

It's the keyboard that makes the UX-50 greater in my eyes. If the TH-55 had a remote, i'd be sorely tempted though.

You got a point with the powersaving o nthe UX that the TH does not have. But on the other side hs the TH55 amazoing battrery liufe :( I really do not like the life on my UX.
I will either buy a TH or just buy the etended battery for soem serious browsing.
The only thing that sucks about the TH is the portrait mode surfing.
Although I think the UX is really ugly in portrait mode :((((((((

It's certainly much easier (provided you write in the block letter style of Decuma -- if your handwriting is longhand, you probably also use loop style block letters, which Decuma doesn't understand).
However, you can scribble much faster with Graffiti, once the learning curve is overcome. The main reasons are that with Graffiti, you use single-stroke characters, and never have to wait for the device.
Graffiti 2 (Jot Lite), on the other hand, has disadvantages of both systems -- it requires learning, and you have to use multi-strokes and artificial waits at times.
With it's steep learning curve, Decuma is great for getting people quickly using their device with a stylus. It's a nice inclusion -- I just wish it was in AliasExt and not ROM, so it could be deleted...

peg ux-50, I'd go w/ the extended battery route. The TH55's form factor isn't very unique, and in my opinion, it's all about the geek factor.

I have to agree with you on that note.
By the way; no one was bashing in the thread, they were just making a simple point. This happens to be a GREAT forum with some extremely helpful people that are willing to help out new people as well as seasoned veterans.
I, for one, have learned a lot. I'm proud to be a new member.
