Hi,

I'm trying to get some of the Seinfeld episodes that were posted last week to play on my new TH55. I loaded an episode onto my memory stick to /MSSONY/MOML0001. I renamed the movie MOV00001.MQV, but when I start movie player, it doesn't see the file at all.

Then I put the memory stick in my digital camera (also sony) and recorded a short movie. This was immediately recognized by movie player and played fine. It place the movie in the same folder as the Seinfeld, but it still doesn't see the Seinfeld.

Any ideas?

put the movies in the movieplayer file , then move it to the 100mqv01 file. Go to movieplayer on you th55 then you will see a drop down list right next to the memory stick icon in the movieplayer app not on the task bar. pull it down and then select, movie player format. where did you get the movies from

ok. MQV's go in the MQ Root folder (where IC puts them). Mpegs go in the folder you're talking about. it looks like you're dealing with mpegs, so if you dont want to convert them, then put them in the folder you are, but dont change the file type. dont remember if you have to rename it.

I figured it out 2 seconds before I came back here!

I did have them in the wrong folder. Once I moved them to /MQ_ROOT/100MQV01 I was back in business. Seinfeld looks good a the my new TH!
