My Clie T625 wil not start up after installing MapSonic Software, the error message read's this application is for OS5 NO COMPATABLE!!. How can I reset the Plam to Factory Defaults ? I have pressed the reset button a number of times but the same message appears
Can anyone help???

This is why you should read the program's documentation before you install. MapSonic is only for OS 5 machines and your's is OS 4.
You can first try a warm reset. Do the same thing as a soft reset but hold down the scroll up button while pressing in the reset hole. This tells the Clie to restart with nothing running and you might then be able to delete MapSonic.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to do a hard reset, whcih means you'll lose all your data. If you have a recent backup, this won't be a problem. If not, well, backing up comes just after reading program documentation as good things to do when you have Clie.
To hard reset, stick the stylus pin in the reset hole while holding down the power button. You'll get a message about losing all your data. Press the scroll button up and you Clie will be setet to the factory defaults and you should be able to delete MapSonic.
