IR hotsync

Is it possible to hotsync through IR. Do i need any software to be able to hotsync.
Also my Data import doesn't work anymore. I downloaded Card Export, which worked however it's a trial version and lasted only 30days. Does anyone else have this problem, and how do i fix it. Thanks!

Very easy to hotsync via IR. Just select IR to a PC/Handheld, position the badboy next to ur port, and sync it as normal. Very slow tho ! Well, it is when i sync with my notebook.

Dunno what to say about data import/export. I've read a few threads describing the same problem. What does it say, or does it just not do anything when you try and connect from Data Import?

Thanks for your help. When i tap on connect on my palm, my notebooks beeps a couple times and nothing happens. Don't know what it could be. I was thinking maybe i need to reinstall the palm software on my notebook, but i don't have the cd anymore. Any ideas? Thanks!

That's very odd! I've no idea.

If that was happening to me I'd just do a format and reinstall !

It takes a REALLY LONG TIME to sync to your laptop via IR. I tried it once and i passed out on my bed cos it took so long. Go cable unless you really don't have one.
