50 digital dollars for BB pre-orders

Several people were wondering a few days ago if the promotion on the BB web site for 50 digital dollars with $200 PDA purchase would apply to them. I emailed BB about it and they said this promotion just started, so my pre-order on 2/10 wouldn't qualify me for the $50.

Of well, as long as I get it reasonably soon, the $319 price will be worth it.

I called BB this morning about the 50 digital $$. They also told me that the promotion doesn't apply since it wasn't posted on the website on 1/12/04 (order date). They did say I could cancel my order and get that promotion and I almost jumped and said sure. Good thing I asked if I was still going to get the original $319.00 preorder price. They were about to give me the 399.00 price and then the 50 Digi $$. Yea, you pick the better deal....

If you read the fine print on the special, it appears that you can get the digital dollars if you placed the order by 11:59 (CT) 2-21-04
