I'm using the wonderful world of wireless on my NX70.

I hotsync wirelessly, and put it in its cradle next to my bed when I sleep.

This has worked wonderfully until today when I went to load up some mp3s.

Is it not possible to do an MS Import wirelessly?

How can I, or why not?

No, it's not currently possible. MS Import is used as external disk drive and I don't know of any wireless disk drives yet. I believe that there is an app or two that can HS with the MS, but it's slow.

Actually, there are wireless disk drives (even a Bluetooth one). But you are correct that MS Import won't work. MS Import works through the USB, and Bluetooth is serial on the Clie.

I think it is Toshiba that makes a portable (battery powered) Bluetooth 5GB hard drive. When I first heard about it I was excited by the possibility of using it with the MSB1 to stream large quantities of MP3 music and high-quality Kinoma movie content into the Clie. But after thinking it through I realized that the serial port speed of the MSB1 would be too slow for Kinoma -- Kinoma's minimum data rate is 160kbps (and that's for video only, it's higher still with audio) while the MSB1 can only throughput 115kbps. Too bad. :(

If the Clie could do true Bluetooth it would be fast enough. Oh well... I guess you could still use it for low-quality MP3 content.

Thanks for the enlightenment;)!
