1gb Solid State CF or Microdrive

Ive read most of the posts and i would like to know from the people that actually use the microdrives just how bad the battery life is when watching a movie. my 512 CF just isnt cutting it and i need to go bigger, but the solid state CF is so damn expensive. any help is appreciated

solid state will be worth it in the end. much less problems, and more copatible.
