hmm wonder what I am doing wrong..if it was a bad digitaizer would it not be bad in tablet mode as well?

Makes no sense does it?

It has been said the screen part of the NZ is lighter than the NX. Is it possible that it is "deflecting" slightly due to it's lesser weight. One test is to hold the screen part in your hand in the open mode. Or lay the screen horizontally against a table in the open mode. In other words back the screen part up, does that feel better when you tap?

I know on my NX, there is a different "feel" when I tap on the screen in the open mode, as opposed to the tablet mode.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, I noticed, and it is kind of a pain. I, too, thought I needed to go through the whole digitizing setup again, but that didn't make much difference. I also notice that it's not "consistent" either - sometimes it takes a very light tap, and sometimes I have to tap several times....

Thought it was just me

thanks nike33,

right on the money

i put my hand behind the screen and works just like in tablet mode..

but of course too much of a pain to hold it that way all the time..

at least i know i wasnt me lol

Thanks, nike33.  What you suggested also explained why the tapping wasn't consistently the same - I guess it depended on how I was holding the screen, or if it was in open mode or screen mode. Good thinking!

I noticed this, but thought it was the digitizer, so I recalibrated it and it seemed to cure the problem. But will keep an eye out for it.

I noticed the same thing, just assumed it was my "angle of attack"
