I am unable to record a movie on my NZ90. Keep getting the following error message ... "Due to the limitations of loading process recording will abort. Now saving ..." ... NZ90 then locks up and requires a soft reset. Any suggestions? Thanks ...

Whenever I have problems recording a movie, it's usually one of two things, either I don't have enough space on the memory stick, or I have the CF driver activated. If the CF driver is activated, my NZ90 just doesn't record. In order to deactivate the CF driver, I have to do a soft reset.

Well ... got no help here ... called Sony ... they recommended a hard reset ... that did nothing ... did not solve the problem at all ... HOWEVER ... and for everyone's future reference I did manage to fix the problem myself. As it turns out it had nothing to do with the Movie Recorder itself ... works fine. The problem was the Memory Stick ... Lexar 128. I changed back and forth from the Lexar to a Sony and back again ... and in every case, the Movie Recorder worked perfectly with the Sony card and not at all with the Lexar. I haven't a clue why ... but guess I will stick with Sony cards in the future. Cheers ... :-)

Yo Mad Dog....that's a pretty expensive way to solve the problem but usefull and fruitful nonetheless.
I personally only use Sony brand MS....never a problem with A/V
only corrupt files once in a while.

...Flash 57 offered several good explanations for your problem. Did either of those help? did you try them?
...make sure the movie record is set to store onto the memory stick and not the internal RAM
......if all else fails you can back up your Clie then do a hard reset??
