OK... i just got a 256MS Pro so i can now finally DL my large avi. movies from P2P programs. I am familiar with converting these files using TMPEG and Image Conveter, but the framerate on these large avi. files (150MB+) are like 14 frames/sec which is not supported by TMPEG, is there any way i can still put these videos on my CLIE??? Thanks for the help.

if they were originally MPEG1 files, you can put them on a folder on the memory stick and view them using image converter
you will have to change the type of file from moviefiles ro MPEG file or something like that
i believe the folder was
/MSSONY/MOML0001

No... they are originally avi. , so I cannot use image converter until i have changed it inot MPEG using TMPEG. But the problem is TMPEG wont let me convert since the frame rate is too slow.

Okay, in this case get Virtual Dub and set the frame rate to something like 30, or 28 or whatever number you want. You could add filters such as motion blur if you wanted to smooth it out a little bit, or contrast to bring out some colors, but it would take much longer to process. Then select an output Codec such as DIVX, and make sure the audio isn't compressed. Feel free to normalize the audio or increase volume with the audio filters also.
After the AVI is made, see if you can convert it with Image Converter and bypass TMPEG. If not, TMPEG it and whatever else you normally do.
Hopefully this gets you somewhere with those files, although it will take some time to complete...

If i increase the framerate, how do i make the audio match the frames? I tried your tutorial, but when i play the movie, the audio is way off. I tried the Interleaving thing, but it only made no sound come out afterwards.

I wasn't able to reproduce your problem of increasing frame rate.
My only question is "Did the video play faster than normal?"
If it did, then you changed the wrong frame-rate value. Video -> Frame Rate. The middle section is Frame Rate Conversion, the other two do other things, such as the top would make it faster if a larger number was put in there. Make sure you only changed the middle section.
If you did edit the right places, I don't really know what the problem is. If it is simply out of sync the entire time, what I have below will fix it:
Audio -> Interleaving. The bottom is Audio Skew Correction. Put in some values to delay the audio the right amount of time to fix it. If the audio is one second too early for the video, put in -1000. If it is 1 second late, +1000 or 1000. It may take some time to correct it, but if it is simply the issue of skew that should fix it.
Hopefully with these settings you can convert it correctly. If not, there is a really long work around that I can provide you (in Virtual Dub) to solve this issue, but hopefully we won't have to go into it.

Hmm... i see one of the problems, but its still not working. Before I changed the top part of the frame rate, and now i dont know what to do with the middle.

Oh, in the middle area you put in the FPS you want. That should solve your problems.

BTW, has anyone heard of Clien.net? It is a Korean Clié website, and someone there linked to my Image Converter Tutorial yesterday and generated about 700MB+ of traffic. (No problem with that, I can handle it) But I can't translate their comments properly with Altavista... If anyone can get a better translation of it for me, I'd love to figure out what they said. Thanks in Advance. http://www.clien.net/zboard/view.php?id=lecture&page=1&sn1=&divpage=1&sn=off&ss=on&sc=off&select_arrange=headnum&desc=asc&no=1103
