Is it possible to recieve a file through IR if its not a prc or a pdb? is there some software to help me with this problem.

my friend has a ppc and tried to beam me a .doc file that i wanted to save to my card, and open with docs to go. is there a way to have someone beam something directly to my crad, so that i can revieve multiple file formats?

any help would be appreciated

(if i'm in wrong forum, dont kill me. i think this applies to all clies)

Theres one I saw not long ago on cliesources front page called ReceiveIt which lets you, well receive anything to your palm.
The demo lets you use it three times before expiring (dunno if you can do the PIA uninstall & re-install to get another three uses).

I also recommend you the ReceiveIt app, it works great!!!, you can setup different card locations depending on the file type. That's what you are searching for.
