I have managed to create a \palm\launcher folder and I moved all the stuff that I could find into it (as well as the applications that I wanted to run). At first it worked then it gave me the message that launcherX file browser is missing. When I look in the folder I see lxbrowser.prc
what is happening? should the other apps like fireviewer be in the same folder?
how about kinoma and pocketc?

Hello again!
When you say you moved all files into the launcher folder, what do you mean? Most of the databases need to stay in RAM, unless your using PowerRun v1.2 or later. Most of the apps can be moved there(/Palm/Launcher/) folder, except for apps that run on a schedule or have alarm functions that you need to use.
I don't use LauncherX, so I don't know if the lxbrowser needs to stay in RAM or not, but it may have to. You can always move it later. Remember take little steps and try not to get ahead of yourself:).
Not all apps are created equal, and each may need a different approach. Some may have there own folders for databases for example. Read the readme files and the developer web pages carefully for clues.

Larry's right. The LXBrowser file needs to stay in RAM.

Supposedly Sony's movie player is better, never tried Kinoma.
For other helpful hints on launchers and installing apps, see Brian Spradlin's www.launchplug.com site, and nose around there a bit.
