just as an experiment I pointed my nx73 at the tv and started the movie recorder app. It worked well, giving me a watchable show. This will be great for seinfeld episodes etc. with now monkeying around with conversion etc.
anybody else try this?

Haa! Good one! Probably the lowest-tech way EVER to get videos on the Clie! Leave it to members here to think of EVERYTHING! ;)

Yeah, I can also record "MP3s" by turning on the voice recorder and setting it next to my stereo speaker. Rockin'!

anybody else try this? I've been doing this with "24" episodes since I got my NX80V. Lowtech, true, but it maybe my only way of getting tv shows on my clie from now on since ncoday unfortunately may be moving to a bitorrent solution to post videos :(

Well at first I thought I might not be able to get it to work with a Solaris machine. I did find a client so I shouldn't have a problem now.

Why not just record it to MS with the new digital set-top recorder, play it on your NX70 and record it onto your TH55?

lol. super high quality. VGA input or what ever would be sick. i thinthats what the VR100k (video recorder) was made for though. and its not like they would actually combine two products when they could get more money off of you by making you get both.
