Hello all, I just upgraded from my NR70 to the NX80V yesterday with Compusa having them for $300 after rebate. I was wondering what cases have worked the best for you out there as I dont really want to tote this NX around until I have a case. I saw the brando one and it looked pretty weak. Anyone know of some links to sites that carry cases specific to the NX80v? Thanks in advance.

Cheers

I never use a case. My NX80 is it's own case. I just find them cumbersome. I AM carefull though never to put it near keys etc. that could possibly scratch it badly. It's always in a cloth pocket (ie: jeans back pocket) or in my coat pocket. Even so, NEVER being exposed to anything but cotton, the finish does (& yours eventually will to) show slight wear. The painted plastic parts (edges) are the first to go.

Thanks for the info guys....I will peruse through these links and look for the goods... I have one of those targus cases that I used with my NR70 originally, until I got the Digital express case from brando.. was looking for something along those lines (flip case design) , where I could always keep my NX80V in Tablet mode.. Any idea of any of these type cases?> Thanks in Advance

Cheers!

Check out the "ACCESSORIES" & "NEWLY ADDED" sections on the right hand side of the ClieSource hompage. Some first-class products there!

You could try Sony's own CA80 case. It's a soft-case and works very well...and what I mean by that is I've dropped it from my desk on the hardwood floor with no problem. I don't always keep my NX80 in its case, but only for transport. Once I get to wherever I'm going, I take it out and, just like winexprt said, the NX80 is its own case. I take my Clie everywhere I go: school, work, on the "L" in Chicago, downtown. I'm just weary about transporting my Clie...must have got that from the Army...Airborne!

I ended up going with the COVERTEC case, that is flip style. It is like the Brando Digital Express case I use for my NR70. I am glad I was able to find another flip style case as I use my clie in tablet mode 99% of the time.. Again, thanks!

Cheers!
