Why do people pay $400 for something and then FIRST THING open it up destroying the warrantee and I'm sure it never goes back like it was supposed to.... WHY????

If people didn't do this we may now have some of the neat things that individuals release and start marketing.

Remember the days of upgrading the memory of the old Palm IIIs? Someone with electronics knowledge was able to offer these upgrades because of their curiosity and exploring the inner workings.

Wouldn't be nice to know the exact compatible parts (ahead of time) in case your screen breaks or some other internal component that goes bad? Someones website helped me once before to fix an old iPaq because he published his findings.

Personally, I feel their curiosity and knowledge is our gain as a community.

I didn't do that - just happened to find the pics while ordering a screen protector at the Brando site. Believe me, if I had my hands on a TH55 right now I would be doing a lot of work and experimenting, but none of it would involve a screwdriver.

Nice pictures, esecially the first one of the clie in the hand. Theres a nice blister on that dudes thumb. Guess they didn't have any hand models around.:D I don't care I just want mine here now!

As sweet as this (TH55) is (and believe me it's sweet!)...I am resigned to hold out for the wave after this one....Cobalt devices which should be out fairly soon.

Since I got mine, it's been WELDED to my hand!!! And yes... I DO have a wireless router.... AMEN!!!!! :D
