I'm sure this is a repeat, but as everything is gone I will have to ask. What is the best (for the price) antibiotic guide?
Sanford, Johns Hopkins, epocrates Pro,other
I have NX70 w/ OS5.0 so Sanford currently doesn't work. Apparently the 2003 version will. I'm unsure when this version will be released.

In the past, I used John Hopkins and epocrates qID kinda together. I wish that I could have a merged program with each of their features. Right now I use only John Hopkins.
I am trying out Infectious Disease Notes (iSilo doc). Looks promising,

Since Hopkins is free, you can't beat the price! I previously used it but am trying Sanford... I like Hopkins' interface much better, but since Sanford is the "grail" around here, figured I'd give it a try.

I'm currently using Hopkins and Sanford (only$25)
I've noticed some antimicrobial info in 5minCC
I use lexi drugs so epocrates pro seems like a waste of $$

Are those of you using the Johns Hopkins guide running it from RAM or from the MS? I used it but the update process kept crashing my device and so I deleted it.

Thanks for the advice. I just installed Hopkins. We will see how it works. As for ID Notes... I don't have ISilo and I am not sure if it would be worth buying.

Hopkins guide .prc won't run from the MS. But works fine from RAM.
The program itself will put most of the database files on your MS: Launch the app, and get the "pull-down" menu. Click on "memory card," and it will put the database on the MS.
Does anyone use Nelson's Pediatric Antimicrobial Therapy?SkyScape publishes it. There is a demo available, but it's limited and it's kind of hard to judge whether the whole program is worth it

Just for the record "bcringo": It's Johns Hopkins (not John).
BTW JH runs fine with PiDirect too!

I tried to download the Johns Hopkins Guide to my Sony T665 but I am not getting the databases. Has anyone had this problem? Any solutions or am I doing something wrong?

I use the Hopkins guide (free, runs off the MS card on my Sony NX70V).
For those with a problem updating Hopkins: keep it on a (MS) card, hot sync. When it says "Updating Hopkins Headers" etc - either let it do so (& your main RAM will get filled up with the update), or hit cancel.
Now, if you let it load the update on RAM, then when done, delete the old version off the card, then move the new version on the card. Voila! it will work the same.
I had the orig version of Sanford, but at that time, it didn't run off external memory, so I really never used it as it was a memory hog. Then I saw it finally some time later, ran off a card, but by this time I had PALM OS 5, which it doesn't support.
Sooooo, they want more money from me when they get their act together & have both card support & OS 5. Unfortunately, it ain't gonna happen. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
