I got a cool little freeware program that turns dvds into mpegs, so I have an entire dvd in an mpeg format, hwo do i get it onto my clie, if done a search and all of the methods i could find havn't frikin worked and dont say image converter, please

the program you are using to convert to MPEG is probably converting to MPEG2, and Image converter can only understand MPEG1.
Get the program called TMPEnc and use it to convert the MPEG2 files to MPEG1. Do a google.com search and you'll find the website, something like www.tmpgenc.net I think.
If thats not the case, I don't know. Research which codec the DVD ripper proggie is using and see if there are programs out there that can understand that codec.

once you have it as an mpeg, use virtual dub to export it as an AVI file with uncompressed audio
that could work too

mmplayer supports avi.

Also, Image Converter can understand uncompressed AVIs too!

but WHY would u have UNCOMPRESSED AVI'S?
unless you have space to boot...
