I have a 128meg Lexar Memory stick which is getting full. I have a 6meg Isilo medical database that I use several times a day. I find it takes Isilo about 15 secs to search the database, would I speed this up by placing this file on the Internal memory? I have no room left in RAM, does anyone know how the two expanded memories compare in terms of speed?

I believe the MS Pro is faster than the regular ms's for sony. If your running out of room on the 128mb stick, you might want to go for a 256mb ms pro to add to the UX. Most places sell them for $80 - $100 in retail stores like Circuitcity, or bestbuy. You can definitely get them cheaper in online stores like J&R.

Thanks guys
Is anyone running Datebk5 from internal memory using the AliasExt shortcut?
How does it behave?
DateBk5 is running just from internal memory, but since I use it a lot I would feel anoyed waiting even a second for it
but I put pretty much everything in internal memory. I have almost 13MB of RAM free

Orol, Can you assign the calendar button to Datebk5 if it is running from the Internal memory?

I don't know if you mean "Internal Media" (the NAND flash storage inside the UX50 which acts like a ~30MB memory stick) or normal RAM memory.
"Internal Media" is
About 2X faster than a regular memory stick
In the ball-park of an MS Pro memory stick

----
RAM memory access (when data is stored in the Handheld in "Program Memory") is much faster, but limited to 16MB total.
