1. Now that some pre-release devices have been actually tested and looked at, IŽd like to know if the flip cover can be removed or if it is completely integrated into the design?
2. Also, I read that it is possible to use second party launchers. I guess the Organizer-Software will still be available to these, or is it integrated into the factory-launcher application?

Thanks for facts-based answeres,
a possible soon-to-be TH55 owner:P

The cover can be removed but there will be empty slots where it's put in place.

Other launchers can be used in the TH. In fact, the other datebook programs (like Datebk5 and Agendus) can still be used. However, I can't imagine why I would consider other datebook programs when the new Clie Organizer can do a lot more.

I would just unscrew the cover off, put away the screws and the cover for future resale.

Do you know if my old icon collections that I use with Datebk5 will be compatible with the Clie Organizer?
