I just picked up one of these cradles to be able to sync at my office which in on NT and needed the serial capability. When my SJ30 is in the cradle and on, the screen flickers. Has anyone else had this problem, or any other problem with this cradle?

Is this a charging problem that could cause damage to my Clie?

My screen flickers only in the aftermarket cradle, not when plugged into the OE charging cable. Is this an indication of a potential problem with the aftermarket cradle?

I emailed iConcepts, since I have the same cradle from them. They told me to mail mine to them and they would replace it.

So far, I've just been living with it, since it's my only method of syncing with my serial only operation system.

I've heard this story many times on different web sites.

Don't know what happened with my last post, ....but, my question is, you got your cradle from iConcepts? I got mine on e-bay, and it came with no info. I tried to find some more info on iconcepts.com, but that site doesn't have any products. What's the correct web site?

Also, are you going to return your cradle to try and resolve the problem?

Sorry for the confusion. I can't remember the path that eventually got me there, but it appears that Sakar actually makes them. iConscepts sells them at CompUSA.

Thanks for the info. Let me know if the exchange for a new cradle resolves the problem.

I have my doubts. ..and since they won't actually tell me what they are going to do and in what timeframe, I may never do it.

Plus, if they could fix it, the ones that are just being sold now wouldn't be having the problem.

I've never heard someone comment that their's doesn't flicker.
