Boy does this new stylus suck?!

not so much the stylus as the stupid silo in the nz90. anyone know of a better stylus that fits the unit or a better way to get it in or ot without dropping it?? Man Sony, nice unit but crappy testing on this one thing. And the cradle as well!!

the stylus isn't bad once you get used to it.. but the cradle... uhh.. i still have problems w/ it.. the design is nice but i don't know if i got it on right at times....

I'm having problems with both. The stylus holder is very flimsy, and I am sure it will be lost before long. The only nice thing I can say about the cradle is that the placement of the hot sync button is unusual,  but funtional. I wonder how long it will take the plastic cover for the connector to break off the Clie?

Yep, same grive. Overall the unit is very sturdy and kind of army regualation built. Very nice but then you get the .50 cents piece of junk stylus (and of course, its the thing you only use ALL THE TIME) and the dinky cradle. I liked the Nx70 cradle a lot more.

Sigh, as least I can still use my hotsync / charge cablle.

Funny... a .35 stylus costs about 15 bucks anywhere you actualy want to buy it....

I use the "official" Sony a/c adapter and USB sync cable, which come with the plug that allows you connect to the NZ. It was designed for the NV/NX/T series, but it fits the NX just fine. I have an aftermarket one that doesn't fit so you should be wary when you are buying one.

Also, if you look at the NZ accessories page, you can buy spare stylus' for the unit, but the are the same ones for the NX, NV, T, etc. But they DON'T fit correctly into the NZ holder. I wouldn't buy them since they are so small you could loose them easily.

I agree, I didn't think anybody can make a "junker" pen holder than on my old Sharp Zaurus. Which is like this one, but the pen was completly inclosed. But again, fit in only one way and in one particular direction.
You can't just whip the pen out and use it and put it away. You actually have to think on the direction you're sticking it in.

Also, it it just mine or are the main buttons (dunno what you call them, the 4 big ones) off center. my whole row is on the upper half in the hole it protrudes from nothing to be worried about but I can see the gap.
