Just got the Wifi Card for the NX80 but can't seem to access hotmail using NetFront, it says browser not supported. Any ideas how I get around this please?

I don't have a wifi Clie yet (my TH55 is on order), but have you tried this page?
http://mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/default.aspx
It's the MSN mobile site, and looks like it should work...I use MSN, so I'm very curious to know if it does...

Yeah. It won't work with the standard NetFront that came with your Clie.
You have a few options: Use WebPro (browser from Tungsten). Use a modded version of NetFront which WILL access Hotmail. Use the AvantGo browser.
You can find WebPro and the modded version of NetFront here:

Thanks for the link winexprt. There appears to be 2 files -
Netfront 3 1.1.54 mod.. and netfront 3 1 1 47 zip. Which is the correct one to use? and do you simply load it on to the clie like an new downloaded app?

I guess the latest version (highest number). yep, just use install tool and load it as you would any other app. might wanna move it to card when not in use as it's really big.

Just go into netfront setings and under 'cookie' choose 'accept'.

Any thought that the new version of Netfront (is it 3.1?) that ships with the TH55 will work with the the MSN mobile site? What is different about the "hacked" version that makes it compatible?

It should, as the current version on my NX80V does.
Well...I JUST finished surfing MSN mobile on a few different browsers on my NX80V. Since each browser has it's strong & weak points (and NONE is perfect) I routinely pick some website I regularly visit and load them with each of my 3 browsers on my NX80V.
MSN mobile, believe it or not looks best (best display of graphics & crispness) on my AvantGo 5.0 for OS5. One caveat though is AvantGo sort of shrinks down the webpage to fit in the screen, so I never had to scroll left or right on my Hotmail inbox homepage. Looked just as good on NetFront with WebPro a close third.
Cliesoure.com/mobile, honestly to me is a tie for first place between NetFront & AvantGo 5.0, with both of them displaying this website in crisp, high-res+ detail with no scrolling (as it's designed for PDA's & mobiles). Webpro didn't look anywhere near as good in displaying the mobile site. looked broken up (scattered) and not entirely in high-res.
Anyhoo, you really just have to go to your favorite sites on each browser and see which one suits YOU best. It really is quite personal a choice.

winexprt,
Where do you get version 5.0 of AvantGo? I went to the AvantGo web site and the version there is 4.2.
Thanks

Go here: https://my.avantgo.com/register/choose_device.html
And choose 'For Palm OS5 Devices'. AG 5.0 will only work on OS5 devices.

Here are more screenshots of what you can expect while surfing with various Clie browsers.
ClieSource Mobile Site on NetFront:

On AvantGo 5.0:

On WebPro:

In almost every instance I've found Netfront to be the best, most capable browser...& believe it or not, AvantGo 5.0 a close second.

andrewcoffin & winexprt -
I am still having trouble getting Hotmail to work with Netfront. I believe I am using the modified version, but when I pull it up, it says that I need a newer version of my browser. I replaced the older version with the modified one via a backup, but it still says it is version 1.1.47, so I don't actually know which it is.
Also, I tried the link that andrewcoffin suggested: www.mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/default.aspx - the oddest thing happens! When I access it form my laptop, I am taken to the same page that winexprt downloaded on this thread. However, when I access the very same web page from my NX70V, I get another page, what appears to be the home page for MSN Mobile. The link to Hotmail on this page runs me into the same error message as when I try to connect to Hotmail directly.
Any thoughts about what I may be doing wrong?
By doing a hard reset, and the uploading my backed-up data, I was able to successfully install the modified version of Netfront. Actually, I used the 1.1.55 version posted on another thread. Now I can access the full hotmail webpage. However, I am still not able to use the mobile MSN one, and it seems like that one would be so much easier to use.
Any thoughts????

I really have no idea why that's happening. Another thing, I just installed the browser by using Install Tool, and therefore it resides in my RAM. Good Luck.

I just figured out the problem with the wrong webpage loading for the mobile.msn.com/pocketpc website: each time I entered the address in my Clie, I was adding the "www" which takes you to another address entirely, a homepage for mobile.msn. By just using http://mobile.msn.com/pocketpc/default.aspx it works great, with both WebPro and Netfront! Anyone using Hotmail and Netfront should just use this address!!
Thanks for your help!
