Compared TJ35 and T E speed today - 200 and 126 - no visible difference

I was afraid that when I get my TH55, the 126 engine will be much slower than something like 200 on other Clies. But my comparisons at Comp USA today between Tungsten's E speed of 126 and some Clies with the speed of 200 showed no difference in speed really. I tried a few apps. Any commentes?

When you are using the Clie/TE normally for PIM stuff, 126 and 200mhz makes no difference. Try doing your same test again with MP3 playing in the background while viewing mulitimedia stuff like photographs or reading e-books and stuff. The TE slows down significantly with mp3 playing in the background.

The TH/UX using the new sony chips will perform better with multimedia stuff due to the separate multimedia dsp chips.... so the 126mhz of the sony clies will be much much better than the 126mhz performance of the tungsten E.
