I was wondering if Sony just disable the Bluetooth inside TH-55 or take out the whole Bluetooth component from it???
If Sony only disable it, well you know what it mean.
Probably there is the way to enable it.
Because in the begining, Sony TH-55 design come with Bluetooth(US version).
My question is, does Sony design the TH-55 (US ver.) machine differently from the other TH-55 (other country that US, like Japan etc.) ??? anybody know about it.??
:D

Only way to know for sure is to open 'em up! :(
I suspect both are the same pretty much the same hardware, except that if you open a non-Euro TH55, there will be a big gap on the PCB where the BT chip would go :)
Of course, if that's the case, then maybe people like RunPDA will offer to 'upgrade' your TH55 :D

It seems that maybe the bluetooth is take out of the non-bluetooth version th55.

this is the translation of the BT section:

Okay even with the Babelfish I can't understand what the guy is saying ;)
But if you look at Photo9, in the top left there is a gap where a surface-mount component would go: The missing BT chip perhaps?
