Hi,

I will be on a trip to USA soon (from Germany) and I am thinking of buying a Clie there ... the dollar is pretty good compared to the euro ;-)

But there is one question: Can a US Clie model display german characters?
so "a umlaut" - ä ... the letter a with two dots on top

I know the whole system will be english, that's fine, but if I synchronize mails / notes I want to be able to read all letters inside.

Bye,

Christian

Yes it does BUT I only know how this works with graffitti, I have no idea how you enter this in graffitti2 or Decuma.

ANYONE else no?

PS Don't remind me about the $$$, I'll be in Europe late this year and well... WHAT a difference from 4 yrs ago =/

You can. But not with the keyboard. Grafitti and Decuma works fine

German letters work just fine on palms. The only way to input them is using akward strokes with grafitti, the onscreen keyboard which is actually quite fast, and decuma which is nice because you can write the letter and if you have german chars. turned on, it will turn that into text but decuma has other problems...
