374.99 for a NX60???

I was shopping at staples for a NX70, ive been sreaching high and low, after failed attempts to find a NR70 new and at a decent price. I stumbled on a NX60 ad from staples.com for 374.99!!! that's the cheapest I have ever seen. It turns out, it's a typo in the website. However, staples.com will Honor the price. I was able to pick up my NX60 for 399.99( $25 dollar mail in rebate making it 374.99) plus, free next day air shipping and I used a $20 off coupon on purcahses over $200 dollars.


Total: $383 After Mail in Rebate.


Mine arrived on my door today.

That is indeed a good price! How did you get the price from the page? If I add the item to the shopping cart, it shows up as $499, not $399. Also, is the $20 coupon available to anyone? Thanks for the info.

I did tried before....$499.99 when you add it to the cart.
So, I called the customer service, she told me that it was a "misprint" on the price.

I added the Clie to my cart and got the price of 499. So I called Staples and went through the process, however when we got to the end he said the price was 499. So I pointed out the 374.99 on the website and he asked me to hold. Then he talked to his supervisor who told him that they have a clause that says we do not have to honor the price of any misprint. So they did not honor the price. How did you get yours?

I guess I got lucky then. I'm sure my order turned some heads
and they shut it down really quick. Although I doubt i'm the only one. If you are really hardcore, you could try and take it down to a staples outlet with a hardcopy and complain about false advertisement or something?

I figured since I couldn't get it through the phone...I would try a few other things. A) Fry's Electronics Low Price Guarantee... B) Best Buy price Match Guarantee C) The Staples store itself...


Only actually tried option C. But it worked. They didn't have it in stock so the Assistant Manager ordered it online but I paid in store. I just pointed out the advertised price and that it was showing online for 499.00 and she said "No problem, I'll just adjust it." In my head I was thinking, Sucker. Anyway, not only did I get it for the cheap price but I payed exactly 405.93 in store and still get to send in my Mail-in Rebate. So essentially, I just bought a bran new Sony Clie Peg-NX60 for...Drumrollllllllll...$349.00.

I suggest that everyone visit the local store nearest them.

Glad I was able to point ya in the right direction. I ended up buying another NX-60. However, on my 2nd shipement I ended up getting an Ipaq compact HI190 er sumthin.....the cheapo one...
I'm trying going through the whole exchange and wait.

Can you give me the details on what I would have to do to get the $375 price? It sounds like someone got it online, and someone else had to go to the store. If I go to a store, do I just show up with a printed copy of the web page and ask for the price? Will I need to talk to a manager? Thanks for any advice!

(FYI: I am deciding between the NX60 and NX70V. The lowest price I can find online for the NX60 is $430 and $505 for the NX70V. But I will consider giving up the camera for $130 less!)

I ended up at Comp USA last Friday trying to take advantage of the $429.99 closeout. They had one in a box but it looked like it was the demo so the store clerk offered it to me for $330.00 but I had to buy the CompUSA 2 year replacement
