Just went to the Sony Clie website
http://sonyelectronics.sonystyle.com/micros/clie/
and have notice Sony is only listing 4 Clies as current models, the UX50, TH55, TJ37 and TJ27. All the others such as the NX90, UX40, NX80, etc. are now listed under the classics section, and most likely are now officially discontinued. Maybe that means there'll be some new models coming soon.
:D

With the Cobalt models just around the corner, the question is not if but when.

According to this article from Brighthand.com - Spring '04 at the soonest...most likely Summer '04. But as we all know, Sony could always suprise us!
" Availability
No big surprise, PalmSource isn't going to pre-announce any of its licensees Cobalt models at this time. However, David Nagel did say at the press briefing that he expected the first handhelds with the new operating system this summer.
I find this somewhat surprising, as I've been expecting the first releases somewhat earlier, during the spring. Of course, its possible Mr. Nagel is being conservative. On the other hand, consumers may have a longer wait than expected. "

Man, Sony's site lists the TH55 @ $399. That means no new PDA for me, unless the TJ37 has a voice recorder.

I would almost guarentee that cobalt is released in palms spring lineup and in sonys new units this april. (palms spring lineup came last year on april 26th. And about the same time the year before that.)
