Hi,
I have just bought a sony cybershot. I want to transfer the pics I take with it to my clie, using my memory stick. I do this but when I open up pocket picture gear it says there are no images available on the memory stick. Is there a way to transfer them and see them on my clie without the need to use my PC in the process?
many thanks

Easy problem. Check the format in Pocket Gear. There are two of them. The default is pcp? and you need to change it to dcf?. (forgive me, I don't have my Clie with me at the moment).

I already tried that, but it just says no images are in this category at this time.

Just take the photo from your Cybershot, take out MS and stick into your CLIE.
Open up PG pocket (on the CLIE) and view the images from the MS. Then click the IMPORT button.
That's it !!
(Hint: it takes a while to transfer any photo that is larger than 640x480, so just be patient. Or resize them on your Cybershot to 640x480 before putting the MS into the CLIE)

thanks but wen i put the memory stick in from the cybershot into the clie and load up pg pocket then I click MS it just flags the message up of no images in the current category. Do I need to wait longer?

its because the cybershot dosent take photos in dcf or the other format, get a jpeg viiewer like acidimage to do this. i use it all the time and it rocks. and although u are ment to pay for it, u can delete the file that records how much time u have left on the trial, and use it indefinitly. ho ho and they say crime dosent pay!!

I'm considering buying a cybershot solely for the MemStick compatibility. I'd like to know what model you have and what your thoughts are. I'd even like to see some sample pictures if you're willing.
Help out a fellow Cliet.
