View Full Version : Sony Tech Support cannot help - assistance please

I am new to the Clie NX70V and have several issues that Sony Tech Support is unable to assist with...

1. When syncing Clie Mail with Outlook 2000, I am always asked to provide "time" for Cliemail to access my Outlook mail account. Is there anyway to bypass this step?

2. When viewing my Clie Mail inbox, all e-mails from outside my company clearly provide the senders email name in the sender/address area, but all internal e-mails include a long extension of EX:/O=........ Is there anyway to set my internal e-mail to list only the senders name?

3. When syncing my agenda from MS Outlook 2000, it does not include the other meeting attendees names or the location of the meeting that is in the Location field in MS Outlook. Again, is there anyway to include this when syncing.

Finally, I will be using my PDA for 90% business use (agenda, e-mail, web searching, PowerPoint presentations, MS Word and MS Excel), knowing that this is a Plam OS/Clie site, would you still recommend a Palm OS/Clie or Pocket PC PDA?

i would use POP3 and stop synching with Outlook.

Sounds more like you need a full blown laptop.

Pocket Mirror may provide better syncing capabilities for you:
