Anybody know if the Clie Organizer was written on old 68k code or in native ARM? I'm wondering if they'll use this for their OS6 devices as well. These PIM on a Cobalt OS would be just what I'm looking for.

You could only use applets for OS 5, thus they're not really written on native ARM. Sony could, however, rewrite the organizer onto Native ARM, but only time would tell.

Don't you think that if the new organizer is successful that Sony would include it on all their high end PDAs? And the first Cobalt handhelds are bound to be high end...

Probably, since their jog dial is quite popular. I just don't understand why they chose to omit the jog wheel from their new lines of laptop. Very strange indeed...

My thoughts EXACTLY! Wow, this organizer looks pretty cool, now that I've actually read and thought about it a bit. I thought it was really gimmicky at first. I use DayNotez a lot on my TG50, it seems like CLIE Organizer could replace it, since you can categorize Free Notes (if not regular memos just written on the Datebook screen).

I still want to keep my keyboard. I wonder how fast you can get with Decuma. I also wonder if that add-on thumboard would fit on the TH55...

I wonder if 3rd party PIM makers like DateBk and Agendus would make an organizer similar to Sony's.. One could hope for that!

Been playin around with Decuma and have to admit, that can be a nice keyboard replacement. I can live with this if I don't have a thumboard. Now I just need $320 to buy one, or $400 if I want to get one in stores when they appear. Any word on when they show up in the stores, like to give it a lil test run before I buy ^_^.

I tried Decuma too, but I didn't really like it. The tech is nice, but not much faster than Graffiti to me. Keyboard is still much faster and less error-prone.
