Does the Japan TH55 has BT?

I've tried the TH55 at Hong Kong SonyStyle shop today (Demo Model) and I must say its a pretty cool looking Clie. I personally own a UX50 and I was a bit disappointed to find out that the HK version doesn't come with bluetooth. Anyone here know wither the Japanese version comes standard with BT?

The Japanese and US models don't come with Bluetooth either, as far as I know.

yep, just ran over the specs. page, don't see any mentioning about BlueTooth. :(

My question is why? Why create two separate specs for a great device? IF only it had both bluetooth and Wifi and allow both portrait and landscape viewing mode ala Tungsten T3, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

NONONONO! BT is not on our devices here. If you do a search on this site youfind alot of topics on this issue. Europe will have BT on it.

It's a shame really that the TH55 doesn't come with BT, I was hoping the HK version would. Bluetooth enabled phones are quite popular here in Hong Kong not to mention GPRS data connections via mobile networks are very cheap around US$5 unlimited data download.

Oh well I'm sticking with my UX50 and T610 :D

OK - let me get this right. European version - will it have both WiFi and Bluetooth? And if yes, does anybody here have an inkling when it'll be released?

If the price difference isn't that great and it comes with Bluetooth for Europe, I am going to hold out and get someone to send one over from there.

My last Clie was the T615 and I have held out since and find the TH-55 pretty intriguing - especially the Clie organizer app - just what I have been looking for!

I think the TH is too big. The UX is the perfect size albeit its RAM. :D
