Does anyone know of a stumbler (wifi detector) program for PalmOS? A friend was showing me his Kensington WiFi Finder (http://www.kensington.com/html/3720.html) and I got to thinking that a wifi enabled Palm would be much better for this application.

Well...the UX50 has one built-in. I can only assume that the new TH55 would have one buiilt-in as well. But as a stand-alone Palm OS app...I am not aware of any that exist yet.

See NetChase @ www.bitsnbolts.com. It only works with the Tungsten C.

As stated above, the UX50 has it built-in.

There is no such thing for any Sony device that uses the CF for WiFi (NX series).

Since there is no WiFi hardware for the N760, there is no stumbler for the N760.

It's not very smooth, but I've setup seperate profiles for all the major WiFi router manufacturers with their default SSID and a blank WEP. Between this and the super-generic ANY SSID I can get most insecure networks when I find them. Still pretty clunky though. I'd like one of those keychain WiFinders too since that would save me a lot of time.

Topic drift: If I ever get momentum up I'm going to write a port scanner for the Clie. :)
