HI!
I just tried out PowerRUN 1.2 and its a great utility. However, I find that the small PowerRUN overlay messes up hi-res icons under ZLauncher. Anyone knows how to get rid of this?

This happened to me also. The way I fixed it is by downloading the latest version. It is kind of confusing because there is more than one version 1.2. I was having problems with version 1.2b1 and I downloaded 1.2b2 and it fixed it. Now I have just plain old 1.2 and it works fine also. Download a newer version and see if that doesn't do it for ya.

I just bought and downloaded PowerRun, now I am having this icon issue on my SJ-30. I have tried 1.2 and 1.3b2, and they both are doing it. I emailed the developer, but was wondering if anyone else was still having the problem?

I have a work around that seems to work OK. Before I move an app to MS using PowerRun, I capture it's icon with Appicon. After I move it to MS wiith PR, I use Appicon to replace the ugly icon PR assigns with the original icon, or one I like better. I use ZLauncher, so after exiting Appicon, i refresh apps for the new icons to appear. Occasionally one or more of the icons I've changed this way will revert back to the ugly PR icon, but it only take a few seconds to change it back. Hires icons will look ugly in Appicon, unless you use v3bhack, but they look normal in ZLauncher after you have applied them. If you want to see them hires in Appicon you need v3bhack, but it isn't really necessary.

I use PowerRun v1.3b2 on my NX with ZLauncher and have no problem with the Icons.

If you're running OS4 or lower, then you can't blame PowerRUN because high-density icons are for OS5 machine only.
v3bhack can trick some launchers / programs to display high-density icons, but it has some issues with stabilities.
For ZLauncher, LauncherX, HandyShopper and DateBK, their developers have found ways to display high-density icons in OS4 machine natively, but their method of hacking the system has not been published / documented, so not many other programs will benefit from it right now.

Maybe it's an OS4 vs OS5 thing. I went to Hacker-Dude's web site and the 1.3b was supposed to expire on 5/15.
