Does anybody know if it's "safe" to delete the NFCOOKIEDB file which, I assume, contains NetFront's cookie information?

I seem to have a screwed up cookie which is causing problems and I can't find a way in NF to kill just that one cookie.

I've never tried so I can't say if its safe or not although I would expect it to be.

If you wish to try, I would suggest that, instead of deleting it, you move it to a custom named folder on either the Int.Media or a MS. That way if its omission causes NF grief, you can simply move it back.

Delete it, it doesn't matter. Most of the time now I run with cookies diabled as it seems to resolve a couple issues with some websites. You can always turn it on in specific situations.

One more thing, anytime you're curious about something like this just back up to internal memory and try it. The worst that can happen is you will need to restore from the backup.

I have deleted this file in the past with no ill effects (except the loss of my cookies, but that was the idea since I was having trouble with them).

I just wish that Sony placed the NEtfront file sin the internal memory instead of in the Rom, or aloow us ways to upgrade to the newer version of Netfront by overwriting the old version to resolve any possibel conflicts of having two different versions in a single Clie.

Thanks for the info, guys.

Unfortunately, removing the cookies didn't help .. but it was worth a shot.
