How often do you hotsync?

Out of curiousity, how many times a day do you hotsync? I usually do it 5-10 times.

Around 1-2 times a day, and just for downloading the news.

really i trust my clie, and i dont think i need to sync so often to backup my data.

If I don't install new software, I hotsync around once every 1-2 weeks. I have setup Backup Buddy to backup to MS everynight. I also backup my MS about once a month.

Wow! I feel sort of strange hotsyncing so many times in one day! I do add programs and sync notes everyday though. But still... Oh well, thanks for responding

A reinstalled the OS on my computer a few (okay, more like five) weeks ago and I never got around to reinstalling the Palm Desktop so I went more than a month without a sync. It is as if I forgot I could sync. I wasn't worried because I backup to my Memory Stick pretty regularly and it wasn't until I needed to install something that I had to get it all setup again. I probably should sync more often to keep my clock set properly. I think I'll get into the habit of syncing every day. Perhaps I'll use Avantgo or something similar to motivate me.

You could install Data Import, and then move the file to memorystick. From there, move the file to internal memory.

My cradle is right next to my computer, so its no bother to hotsync every day before and after school, and im often testing programs, and playing around so i hotsync a lot at night. I mean, not like its SUCH a pain.

It does seem strange to me. What exactly do you Hotsync so frequently for? I do usually once every couple days unless I am installing some news apps or something.

i usually hotsync at the end of the day before leaving the office to go home. Or, if I have added lots of notes, etc to Outlook during the day, I might hotsync once during the day, in case I need something while I am out at lunch or not in the office.

I tend to sync up once every 2 days unless I'm installing software, in which case it'll be as many times as needed. I use to sync up at least once a day to keep Avantgo fresh, but I didn't see myself reading it too often. On a 30-40 minute train ride, you could only get in so much information.

Nowadays, I sync up only because I haven't for some time. Finding myself reading eBooks more often than news, I never even bothered to install AvantGo after a hard reset a few weeks ago. And with BackupBuddyVFS, I have the backup aspect taken care of as well :)

The reason I sync so much is to try new apps (I try new ones everyday when i get home... habit) And also to sync all notes I took that day in school and print them
