View Full Version : verichat and AIM do not work!!!

ok i tried searching for this but no luck..

when im using wifi or BT on my UX50, verichat and AIM do not work. netfront can browse but the chat apps dont work for some reason, they dont even connect.

it was working yesterday but all of a sudden it stopped working. so i did a hard reset and only loaded the programs needed for internet and still no luck. I can ping websites from the log menu fine.

I use my wifi router at home and BT phone on cingulars WIX to connect on the road. nothing was changed from yesterday and it just stopped working.

anyone else have this problem?

Mine does that too. It always hard resets with my wifi card inserted. It used to work fine until I got my wifi card. I have tried emaling the devs about this and they are completly clueless

dannn, has this ever worked over Cingular? I know that with t-mobile I had to change my phone to utilize special settings for programs such as verichat to work. I tried to connect using my friend's cingular account and it wouldn't work at all. You may need to contact cingular and find out what the ppoper settings are.

OK I was worried.

I have an NX & BT MS and I am on cingular.
AIM and AOL worked fine with CSD.

BUT sometimes AOL acts up and won't work... hopefully all you are experienceing is one of their network hiccups.
