I'm a newbie here..just bought a brand new SJ30, I loved it!
Can someone tell me how to charge the battery...the correct way?
Can I charge it when the it reach half way or do I have to use it until almost finish(warning pops-up)?
And can I charge it overnight? or just wait the lights out?

Everyone charges a little differently. What I do is put my Clie in the cradle whenever it isn't with me. That way I rarely see the battery at anything less then 50%. Theres no problem with charging it overnight either.

it doesnt matter when you want to charge it, but i've heard probs can occur if you leave it charging for days or more.

The general opinion seems to be that Li-Ion batteries are happiest if they're kept charged up whenever possible. Unlike Nicads which are damaged by being topped-up (the 'memory effect'), Li-Ions are damaged by being deep discharged.
You're best to charge whenever possible, and avoid running down as far as the low battery warnings if you can. Once you get a warning make sure you charge as soon as possible.

I've just remembered where I recently read about Li-Ion batteries, it's in the latest Harrow Technology Report which you can read here http://www.theharrowgroup.com/articles/20030217/20030217.htm#_Toc32899996
It also contains links to some very interesting information from Panasonic.
