I think Brayder Technologies, Inc. -- maker of Jacksprat and Jackflash -- can help you out.

No. I do not need to backup now. I lost the backup and my rom was modified. I need to restore to the original.

Thanks anyway :)

If you can tell me how to backup my rom I will grab it for you off my 615C.

Just tell me what to do.

You need to get a copy of the Jacksprat app and run the back-up ROM command. You'll then need to attach the files and email them to xwang (place them in a zip file to save space).

Very kind of you, nsummer.

I just wanted to let you all know that I just sent the ROM for a T615C to him (from a Canadian Clie (which I suspect is identical to the US version). So there is probably little point with us now inandatting him with roms.

Annoying though Jacksprat isn't avaliable for free (even in a time limited demo which would be just fine for me). So I had to go find a copy to use for 1 darned minute...

Hi, nsummer. I recently purchased a used Clie T615 myself and found out that a couple of the default apps were removed by JackSprat. Could you kindly e-mail me a copy of the ROM files as well?

BTW, I'm in Canada, too..in the GTA, to be more specific.

Thanks a bunch!

I'd appreciate it if someone could send me a copy of the JackSPrat ROM files as well. In my situation, the removal of specific ROM files was deliberate, in order to create more available flash memory.

I recently bought a new TJ35, however, and once I have it set up I'd like to sell my T615C on ebay. The only problem is that I'd prefer to sell it with the original ROM image intact, rather than missing some of the original apps.

Any help would be appreciated. My e-mail address is:
