1. Is the MP3 adapter worth buying?
2. Does a case exist for the SJ30 that would give me paper on one side with clie on the other, maybe in a zipper? I purchased one, but the SJ is smaller than the holder, so I was just curios...
Also, is there a case that will let me have my mini keyboard with me all the time connected or not?
3. Is there a stylus similiar to the one for the Tungeston for the Clie? The weight of the Tungsten stylus is very nice. (my hubby, Palms bytch, has a Tunsgten)
Thank you for responding. I appreciate your comments.

> Is the MP3 adapter worth buying?
That's a very personal question. I can tell you that audio quality is fine. Whether you want to slap down $100 so you can play MP3s on your handheld is up to you.
> Is there a stylus similiar to the one for the Tungsten for the Clie?
Not that is going to fit inside the very slim stylus slot on the handheld, no.

I have the SA10, and it works for me.
Don't expect it do the same job as an iPod though - it rapes the battery when you use it.
You should get about 3-4 hours playback on a full charge (With backlight off. BTW, I believe that this may be extended by underclocking the Clie with FastCPU or similar program, but I've yet to prove it or how far an underclock is achievable before the MP3 player stops working)
I use mine commuting to and from work and during lunchtimes It's fine. I suppose it'd be good for jogging etc. becase as with all MP3 players, it's anti skip.
I suppose it's worth it if you already have an SJ30, are happy with it and don't want an SJ33 (Sorry - still think it looks like a My First Clie from Fisher Price :D)
Oh - and a word of advice - rip you're mp3's at 96kbps if you do get one, as with earbuds / walkman headphones you will not notice the difference between that and 'CD Quality' 128kbps rips (well - at least I don't!), and you'll get more on you're MS.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
GOO

i'm going to be getting "my first clie from fisher price" (aka SJ33) asap, but i've heard the adapter for the SJ30 works quite nicely... that's only hearsay, though.
there are replacement syli sold here (global source) that fit the SJ30 slot and are apparently a bit heavier (ergo more substantial feeling), they might suit your needs. but if you're going to get a case such as you describe, you might just want to buy a larger stylus/pen combo that you could keep in the case.

The one thing that is not too cool about all you forum junkies are that your not really happy with what you got, which I think is strange... Remember, first and foremost a clie is a PDA. It is there for primarily PIM usage... You guys want to upgrade your Clie's just like that! Why?
Or maybe Im just new to the world of PDA's, but how long does your average PDA last before you need to upgrade.
Another thing, if my battery eventually wears out, how is it to obtain a new battery pack, and can install it myself?
O, ya, I have a SJ20...

What's the deal? Let people buy a new PDA if they feel like it, when they feel like it... They're just helping the economy...

[Bold] Yummi [Bold],
I think Targus has a case that could work for you...

[B]Yummi[B], sorry, it's not letting me edit my message so I have to post another for the link:
Targus case (http://www.targus.com/product_details.asp?sku=CHCK01)
Targus case at Staples.com (http://www.staples.com/Catalog/Browse/sku.asp?PageType=1&Sku=IM1122334&bcFlag=True&bcSCatId=3&bcSCatName=Technology&bcCatId=59&bcCatName=PDAs+%26+Handhelds&bcDeptId=1776&bcDeptName=Accessories&bcClassId=141609&bcClassName=Cases)
This RhinoSkin case might fit your needs as well...
Rhino Skin Leather Portfolio (http://www.saunders-usa.com/rhinoskin/prod.cfm?cat_id=5027&prod_id=5129)
----------------------------------------------------
I have the Targus case above and I like it. It has two zippered compartments. One holds the PDA and the other holds a keyboard. The SJ30 will fit in it (the PDA compartment) with Sony's mini-keyboard attached. If you would rather not have two full compartments then maybe these Targus cases would do...
Targus Trademark PDA Portfolio (http://www.targus.com/product_details.asp?sku=CTM800)
Targus PDA Organizer (http://www.targus.com/product_details.asp?sku=PDAT01)
The Targus PDA Organizer (PDAT01) is the same thing as the dual compartment model, only it has one compartment, but it's still big enought to fit the SJ30 with the mini-keyboard attached. Also, all the Targus cases have velcro attachments, but you can cover the velcro with one of those dashboard grip pads for cell phones, that you can find at most electronics stores.
-----------------------------------------------------
I don't work for Targus, I've just had good experience with a variety of their cases. The RhinoSkin Portfolio, I ordered that last night so when I get it, I'll post a mini-review of it.

I have the Innopocket 3 in 1 stylus. The metal feels a little heavier but not as heavy as the one on my Visor Prism, but the prism's stylus may just be heavier because it is thicker. The plastic on the tip of the Innpocket sylus also feels better than the stock stylus for the SJ30.

In the past 3 years I've had three PDAs.
Visor deluxe- I kept for one year
Visor Prism I kept for two years
And now my SJ30 which is less than a month old.
