I have read some of the methods of moving the warfare files to the int. media. But on doing this, I encountered repeated error messages and failures. Also, the previous threads alluded to different warfare files...I could only find the main one.
Can someone please advise/assist?
Many thanks.

Ok..here's what I found. I have Warfare on my NX80V.
Go into ClieFiles. Go to where ever you put Warfare (i.e.: MemoryStick or internal).
The Warefare files are as follows in decending order of size:
*htdata824_pdb.prc (1866K)
*Warfare_Incorporated.prc (412K)
*htsfx_pdb.pdb (308K)
Let me know if that helps you.

I went to "handheld" on my ux 50 using clie files.
All there is, is the name "warfare inc" under database name and on the right, its size. I cannot delineate any subfiles/components on the ux 50 and I have also tried by using FileZ.
Any ideas?

Ok...in ClieFiles, do a sort by size..unless you have some REALLY large programs it should be the first listed or very near the top. I sorted mine by 'size' and that's how they appeared.

Sorted by size.
All I have is a single Warfare Inc file of 5.5k which is an app. No subfiles despite trying to repeat the process and organize by time, date, type, etc.
I moved the program to my memory stick with Power Run. Could this effect it at all?
Thanks.

Probably would affect it. The files you are looking for are probably now in MS...If I were you, I would reinstall the game onto the Clie itself, then follow winexprt's instructions...
I actually use Uninstall Manager to check which are the associated files for the app which I want to move to Int Media (AliasExt folder). Very useful.

icu523,
I, too, am having the same issue with my UX-50. I have NO Warfare files (Creator WARJ) on the handheld itself. I even have the "accelerator file" from the .zip distribution of 1.2 on the MemStick (along with the three other files) and I continually get "Incorrect game graphics verision or no game graphics installed."
This happens whether I have the accelerator file installed or not.
Anyone been able to successfully run WI from a MemStick?
Thanks!

Here is what I did to install warfare inc to my memory stick: Run the warefare inc installation program. After doing this, DO NOT HOTSYNC! You now need to run the palm install tool by going to: Start>All Programs>Sony Handheld>Install Tool. Now change all files to be installed to go to the memory stick then perform a hot sync. This eliminates the need to use clie files to manually move the files to an alias extension folder. Good luck!

Mine runs just fine from my memory stick. That was the destination I sent it to when I installed it. When I go to run the program, the icon to start it is on the memory stick, no on the main handheld. I have no special launcher programs or anything, just a stock UX50 with the extended battery.
