OK, I sold my UX50 and jumped to a Tapwave Zodiac for the time being. However, I still have my CLIE Digital Video Recorder and a 512 MB Memory Stick because I have been converting shows to Kinoma and Windows Media formats for playing on my other PDAs through Quicktime Pro. However, I just realized that without a CLIE I cannot preprogram my recorder.

I know the specs state that you need a TG/NX/NZ/ or UX series to watch the videos, but does anyone know what the minimum CLIE would be to just set up the recording on a Memory Stick Pro? Could I use a low cost TJ series to just set this up?

I may have to take the .prc file to the store and try different models out if nobody here has a device they tried it on. Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can use any model that, in your case, would support the MS Pro. I did try it with a TJ35 and it worked.

There is a preprogramming program from Sony JP for VR100K, you can setup preprogram in PC. However, there is Japanese version only. If you can read Japanese, this is also a choice for you...

I didn't say Reggie didn't solve the problem. I just provide another suggestion to palmsolo.
