I brought a 256MB sandisk Ultra II CF for my clie. When i put it into the slot, my clie couldn't even power up! After I remove it, my pda still couldn't start up, even in the cradle! I tried to disconnect power cable of my battery, then it seemed work.. Anyone knows why? Please???

btw.. after I disconnected battery, and it started up without the CF card. If I put the card again, the pda still died.

I'm getting a similar problem. I just bought a 512mb memory stick from SanDisk and every time I put it in, it either takes forever to see the stick (which it doesn't see it so I take it out). And another thing is that if I put it in when it's off, it doesn't turn on?
Has anyone seen this before? Thanks for your help.

called sandisk support.. they say if the speed of my card is higher than the clie interface, these things will happen.. So I replaced it with the traditional card....

Here is the Deal, the CF Slot that you have in the Clie does not support higher transfer speeds. If you really want fast data transfer I'd suggest go for a MSPro. Hence I dont see a logic of you going for a hiugher speed Ultra CF card. Save yourself some time and buck get a higher capacity Cf card with 2X or 4X speed and you are good to go. I use SanDisk 512 MB Cf which I got 6 months back for $80 and Smart 256MB CF card which cost me $30 and both run fine. Infact If I were to spend money on CF I'll get the Cheapest Card in the market with higher capacity and not speed.

I have a SanDisk Ultra (the first one, not "II") and all is well on my NX60. 512mb for $100. not a bad deal.
does anyone know if i can divide my Palm\Launcher folder into categories so i can see a divide in all the programs i run from my CF? i want to be able to see at least a whole category in my clie launcher without having to scroll one prog at a time
