Are there any utilities for the NX that will allow you to see the status of your wifi connection? Link quality and signal strength and such. Maybe even show you your IP information? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No, not yet. I t would be nice though. You can see the IP info under the Network View Log in Network Preferences.

bummer, I guess I've been spoiled by my Linksys and Compaq wifi PCMCIA cards in my laptops. I just think this would much easier to carry around than a whole laptop to test signal strength and such when setting up new wifi networks, which I do for a lot of friends and such. Thanks for the quick response.

What has held a lot of neat apps back from being developed, has been Sony's reluctance to release the CF slot programming!

I'm not sure if knowledge of the CF slot would have anything to do with such a project.
