I've always found most Palm brand users go for the simplier solution. Clie users usually seem the type that want to heavily customize and tweek their handhelds. The poll done here shows Zlauncher blow Launcher X away.

I've used both and both are very good. Zlauncher is just a lot more fun for me to use with all its added features.

I don't think there has been a poll on launcherX vs ZLauncher on PalmOne City, but I have the impression that ZLAuncher is the favourite there as well. However, I guess that many ex-clie users are hanging around on POC. I'm a happy ZLauncher user, and have a Palm device.

I still will vote for LX, simply does it job good, though i like the background pictures feature of ZL.

The price? ZLauncher is only $12, LauncherX is twice as much.

I think people with lower end palms find LauncherX more appealing because they think Zlanucher is bloated, unwieldy and slow. With my UX50, its really zippy and the new features don't slow it down either.

Also it boils down to how our minds function upon entering a launcher. Both launchers are great apps anyhow.
