Hey, maybe Sony will release 2 models of the TG50.

One would be the one we all saw in the pictures, the other without the keyboard and a bigger screen! Plus Virtual Graffiti!

I would LOVE that!


Please pelase pelase please please.....Sony do it...plus either ditch the flip cover or make it fold all the way over

That would be cool, and possible, but not likely, unless it didn't have bluetooth. B/c of the bluetooth, we have this FCC info in the device. If it had bluetooth, we would probably find the same info on it.

I don't think Sony would do that. Too much money..even for them...

I don't need Bluetooth. Besides, I could always buy a Bluetooth stick.

I REALLY want a bigger screen!

Isn't there any possibility that the TG is just another CLIE model line.... to compete with the tungsten W (or perhaps the Treo)?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your comment.

All Clie's compete with the other Palm OS devices, but Sony does seem to lead the way in innovation.

It's my understanding that they wouldn't have to get it approved by the FCC again. Handspring was able to just submit one Treo device to the FCC for approval, and then release many variations on the model. Sony would give the TG50 to the FCC to approve the bluetooth, and then release a TG70 (or whatever) without having to seek approval again.

I really hope they have some kind of model just like that TG-50 but with VG. Thats seems to be the device that many people want.

Well.. we still havn't seen that new 18-bit 320x480 LCD screen in a Clie yet, and they were supposed to start using them in Janurary. I hope this means we will see a thin VG model coming out soon.

If it had a really nice flip case (I hate the need for a seperate case) I might consider it. I just like the added protection of closing up my NR70...
