Hi, for anyone that is willing to share their driver cd, I would like to collect so other people will be able to download it when in need.
The upload needs to be either "as is," (Full CD), or only the critical software (drivers, hotsync, etc.). It must be accompanied with their manuals that is on the cd. Basically allowing people to burn the cd and having it as a backup.
please use this server to upload:
ftp://roasted.homelinux.net
Port 21
user: clie
pass: upload
Permission: read and upload only. No deleting.
File type allowed: *.rar, *.zip, *.iso
No directory creation allowed.
Please make the file name meaningful.
Thank You!
P.S. Hammering will be banned

Sure, I'm using broadband also, so you may upload it whenever you like. Just make sure it is in a compress format listed or an iso format. you know how it is these days.
Thanks!

OH CRAP! GOT AN EMAIL FROM SONY!
JK!
As I search around cliesource.com, i found the previous threat similiar to this one about collecting clie driver CDs. I can understand why IF SONY would to be emailing webmaster about it, but I also do understand why some people need the CD, and don't want to pay for another one.
I believe most of the ...crap...on the driver CD are 3rd party software, and can be obtained publically. The rest are the drivers and the main software that is needed to synchronize between your computer and your pda. And I don't think...what's the thing sony uses...oh yeah, "hotsync", pfft, like that can't be obtain publically...
Anyway, to sum it up, I don't think there's anything special about a driver cd, other than their [SONY] autorun feature and their logos. And I'm not making money on this, so I wouldn't expect them to send me anything (no, I'm not gonna start taking your money offering).
I only do this because 1) I like to run my own servers and want some people to actually use it and 2) This is my first time that I had a pda (3 days before this threat started).
Otherwise...screw it.

Well all i need is the s360 drivers for windows so windows knows how to handle the pda.
