ok.. let's say you were able to buy the european versions w/bluetooth in it to use here in the usa. is it a valid assumption to make that it *will work* with all your usa-bluetooth devices???
and I'd love somebody to really describe some of the bluetooth devices they *have* used with their current Sony PDA. I've got the NZ, but I personally have never tried to use any bluetooth devices with it... and I wish I had.
so let's say I have a bluetooth enabled phone that I use to get online with my NZ..... can I assume that the european TH55 with bluetooth in it (assuming it does) will work w/no problems?

bluetooth devices arent limited to regions. all bluetooth devices will work with others as long as you set it up right. theres no such thing as european lbuetoth vs american bluetooth.

Well... that implies that we (Americans) should be able to buy the possibly soon-to-be-released-in-europe bluetooth enabled TH55 from anywhere online, right? Maybe from Sonystyle themselves?
If I as an american can purchase this with bluetooth, it's pretty much a done deal for me swapping it for my NZ. That assumes that I'm ok with the processor slowdown too though.... hmm.
Tough to choose! :)

What does make sony to release the TH in US w/o Bluetooh and in Europe w Bluetooh?

Why would Sony release it without Bluetooth? Maybe because they will charge more for the European model. Further, any American who buys it will have to compensate for the weaker dollar vs. the British pound or the Euro -- ouch!
I assume Bluetooth will be available with the more high end models to be released by Sony after this current crop of PDAs.

Will the Bluetooth Memory Stick work with the TH55 at all? There is no mention of this as an available accessory both in the web site and in the product pdf, doesn't seem to be an option. And the memory stick slot seems to have a cover which won't allow the BT MS to stick out. :-( So is there any way to add Bluetooth to the TH55?

I assume that most of you use BT between your cell phone and PDA. The question I have is--how much do you pay your wireless company for this service? Are there any phone plans that only charge you your minutes, and not an add-on charge?
