Best Buy is getting pretty grouchy about returning PDA'S which have a problem for a new PDA. I reminded them that under my agreement and the maintenance plan, I was told that I could return my pda at anytime for any reason.
I returned my nx to best buy, and they didn't have the nz-90, but finally gave in and gave me a new nx-70 sealed in box. I stopped by the local circuit city and told them the problems I had with best buy, and they said as long as the pda is still in a sealed box and it is one they sell, they will give you a full credit toward a newer one. Needless to say, I did so, and got my NZ-90 with no complications, and the maintenance plan that allows me to return it for any reason. Circuit City is great at customer service, too bad best buy couldn't learn something. I used to buy everything at Best Buy, now i'm moving on to Circuit City:D :D :D

The customer service rep said as long as it was in their system, a product which they sold, and the package wasn't opened or tampered with, they will give you a full in store credit to be used for another purchase

I did the same thing sorta. My T615 was messed up and I had the TAP plan at CompUSA. I wanted the NR70V but they didn't have any. I traded my T615 for a T665, then went to Best Buy with it still sealed and wanted to get the NR70V. They gave me a lot of grief about it, and I barely got to do it. I also lost $50 in the transaction. They told me that I only got three receiptless returns in my life time, and I had just used one. They took my License number to keep track of it. I wish I had tried Circuit City first... maybe they wouldn't have given me such a hassle.
